Tuesday Testimonial: Meet “Alan”

Editor’s Note: To highlight the difference Maranatha-Carlisle is making in people’s lives, we are going to be regularly posting a success story of one of our clients. This week for “Testimonial Tuesday” we would like to tell you about the success story of our client Alan (name changed for privacy reasons).

When Alan began working with Maranatha-Carlisle, he was extremely needy. He had no understanding of how to manage his own finances and Maranatha-Carlisle had to invest a lot of time into him in order to ensure that he was budgeting correctly and paying his bills on time. Around a year ago, Alan bought a bad car from a bad dealer, without help from Maranatha-Carlisle. Our account managers helped him realize his mistake and helped him get rid of the car.

After that incident, Alan has been working hard with the help of his account manager to budget for a new car and make more financially prudent decisions. With the help of Maranatha-Carlisle, he found a reputable car dealer and was able to purchase a new car, within his budget, that would last him a long time. Although Alan has faced some setbacks while trying to learn how to manage his finances, with the help of the account managers at Maranatha-Carlisle, he has made great strides in becoming more responsible with his budgeting, leading to him becoming more independent in general. We are so proud of the independence and financial literacy that he has gained during his time with Maranatha-Carlisle, and are excited to see where he goes in the future!
