Testimonial Tuesday: Meet “Doug”

Editor’s Note: To highlight the difference Maranatha-Carlisle is making in people’s lives, we are going to be regularly posting a success story of one of our clients. This week for “Testimonial Tuesday” we would like to tell you about the success story of our client Doug (name changed for privacy reasons).

Doug is one of our clients who we feel has made great strides in becoming more financially literate and has learned how to budget effectively. He is currently working a full time job and has been learning how to budget his money. He also has recently moved into a new apartment that has allowed him to become more independent and live a higher quality life. Although he is not at the point to become independent from Maranatha-Carlisle, Maranatha has given him more autonomy and security in his daily life.

We are so proud of the steps that Doug has made to become more financially stable. He has gotten a full-time job and is working to learn how to budget this money effectively. Our essential services have helped guide him to make good financial decisions and have improved his quality of life. Because of the support of Maranatha, Doug can stay on a budget and feel confident in his spending habits. Maranatha has become a resource for Doug to further understand how to budget.

Thank you to our donors for making success stories like this possible! If you would like to donate to help us expand our services to more individuals in need, you can do so here. Please put the name “Doug” into the notes section so we can let him know how his story is helping us help others.
