Testimonial Tuesday: Meet “Sarah”

Editor’s Note: To highlight the difference Maranatha-Carlisle is making in people’s lives, we are going to be regularly posting a success story of one of our clients. This week for “Testimonial Tuesday” we would like to tell you about the success story of our client Sarah (name changed for privacy reasons).

Sarah has been with Maranatha-Carlisle since 2014, working first with Peggy and now with our account manager, Pam. Pam describes Sarah as a “go-getter” and “worker.” As long as Pam has worked with Sarah, she has always been trying to improve her financial situation and gain financial literacy.

Sarah has always wanted to be on her own and self-sufficient. She has been viewing her time at Maranatha-Carlisle as a learning and mentoring experience, trying to understand how to be financially responsible. With the help of Maranatha, Sarah has gained more command of her finances and has decreased her reliance on credit cards.

Because of the support of Maranatha-Carlisle, Sarah has been able to put money away for retirement and is even working with Pam and her bank to maintain a vacation account so she can go on a cruise later this year. We are so proud of Sarah for all that she has done to learn about financial management and gain autonomy. Sarah’s success demonstrates the positive impact Maranatha-Carlisle can have as a support network and mentor service, supporting our clients to become more financially literate and achieve independence.

Thank you to our donors for making success stories like this possible!
