Meet Momma Spriggs

We recently had an opportunity to sit down with Steve and Tony Cutia to talk with them about their restaurant, Momma Spriggs, and their participation in Maranatha-Carlisle’s Match Madness campaign.

From the moment you walk into Momma Spriggs Restaurant, you will be impressed by the warm, family-friendly atmosphere.  However, their menu is full of comfort food items like meatloaf and chicken pot pie with a fine-dining flair. Through Easter they have supplemented their menu with special seafood festival menu items like clam diggers, seafood lasagna, and fried calamari.

Even more than the excellent menu and friendly atmosphere, what struck me in my conversation with Tony and Steve was their commitment to the community.  Steve and his wife Cyndi opened Momma Spriggs in 2012 because of their need for a place to hold fundraising events for their boys’ sports teams. Throughout our conversation Steve and Tony emphasized how much they care about the community and the importance of giving back.  This commitment is reflected in their excellent online reviews, the positive feedback they receive and is the reason people travel all the way from Shippensburg and Chambersburg to enjoy Momma Spriggs.

Please make plans to join Maranatha-Carlisle on Wednesday March 6th at our Match Madness event. You will enjoy their great food and amazing atmosphere while helping Maranatha-Carlisle raise the money we need to continue to help the most vulnerable in our community.  See you there!!!
