News for Immediate Release: Maranatha-Carlisle Joins with Partnership for Better Health Match Madness Campaign

Your donations can have even more impact by joining Maranatha-Carlisle in participating in the Match Madness campaign offered by the Partnership for Better Health and M&T Bank from March 1st to 31st.

Maranatha-Carlisle is a 501.c.3 nonprofit organization that assists vulnerable people in the community by providing them with sound financial management services. This allows the clients, who have a limited income, to maintain financial stability while living independently. With this help they can focus on treatment and enhancing their quality of life.

“Match Madness is a great way for our community to further support the valuable work we do” said Kim Strizzi, Executive Director of Maranatha-Carlisle. “Match Madness is a program in which the Partnership for Better Health is working with M&T Bank to match the first $1,000 raised by the partnering organization from March 1 to March 31.  After that, the Partnership will match a percentage of the total amount raised by participating organizations. The money raised will allow Maranatha-Carlisle to raise much-needed operating and program funds.”

Maranatha-Carlisle is raising money in two ways. First, people can contribute directly to the Partnership for Better Health from March 1 to March 31 at and list Maranatha-Carlisle as the beneficiary.  Checks may be made payable to Partnership for Better Health and mailed to 274 Wilson Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Maranatha-Carlisle’s name on the check’s memo line.  Maranatha-Carlisle is also partnering with restaurants throughout the community who will be donating a percentage of their sales to the Partnership for Better Health with Maranatha-Carlisle as the beneficiary.  Participants can enjoy a delicious meal at these restaurants on these dates in March and help raise matching funds for Maranatha-Carlisle.
